Welcome to my BLOG exploring the emotional power of words, and how making small changes in the words we habitually use can mean big changes in quality of mood, and quality of life. Since a good portion of our thoughts are named with words, and our moods and emotional set-point are profoundly affected by the thoughts we think, it’s a very useful practice to begin consciously assessing, and more carefully choosing, the kind of words we use in thought and communication.

This blog will highlight some of these choices, and bring focus to how our inner communication affects our moods and overall life. It will also explore the mental models we attach to words, occasionally challenging how we define certain concepts to ourselves.
